The entrance to the cottage leads into an open plan sitting room, dining area and separate kitchen.

The sitting  room is beautifully furnished with a squashy sofa and  armchair around an original fireplace with wood burning stove. Although there is a log burning stove, the house is centrally heated for those days when there is no need for a roaring log fire.

The hand-painted kitchen is well equipped with fridge with freezer compartment, cooker with extractor hood, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave etc.

At the front of the house there is a small sitting out area which is ideal to enjoy an early evening glass of wine. The cottage has garden furniture for this purpose.

We are great dog lovers and you are welcome to bring a well-behaved dog, bowl provided!

Parking is available on the High Street or in the free car park just a few yards further up the High Street.

The Norfolk Coastal Path is a few steps from the front door of the cottage, with access to salt marshes, creeks and the sea. The Cottage is close to all village amenities, including, shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants.

The wooden staircase leads onto the landing bedroom with vaulted ceiling. There is an antique pine bed and room for a further single bed, which is stored in the cottage, and/or a cot.

A door leads into the tastefully furnished double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and small decorative fireplace. Both bedrooms are made up with fine bed linen and a hairdryer is supplied.

The period bathroom has a cast iron roll top bath with shower attachment, lavatory and wash basin. We also provide our guests with luxurious soaps and bubble bath handmade for the Cottage by The Natural Soap Company in nearby Wells next the Sea.
